This course is required to receive a high school diploma. Students may take CALM during any year of high school. Topics include financial planning, career planning and relationships.
Note: CALM can be taken in combination with PE10. Refer to the PE page for details.

The focus of this course is on strong minds, strong bodies. The combination of fitness and mind wellness are two key components to the overall development of character and becoming a confident leader of your own life.
You will earn 3 credits in Fitness and 3 credits in Leadership 15.

Learn about Leadership, character development and social responsibility. Students will demonstrate their understanding of the critical values and attitudes needed to become a leader of oneself, therefore, being able to lead others by example. Student leaders will actively engage in the delivery and scope of this class by leading various in-class and out of class endeavours.

Leadership 25 and 35 will encourage student leaders to extend their leadership role and exemplify what they have learned through their exploration of Leadership 15. Through this involvement, student leaders will also refine their leadership style, personal vision and life's direction, and an understanding of their social responsibilities.

Focus is on ancient life and dinosaurs, earth history, evolution and geology with a field study at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Science 10 is the prerequisite or may be taken concurrently with

Explore human behavior and the science of psychology. You will earn three credits in General Psychology 20 and three credits in Experimental Psychology 30.
The prerequisite course is either Personal Psychology 20 or Biology 30.

Films are marvellous forms of literature. Through viewing film clips, documentary films, classic movies, foreign films and feature-length movies, this course allows you to study the art and literature of film.

Students learn about natural wilderness areas in Canada which contribute greatly to our quality of life. Wildlife 20 students receive accreditation in HSC:2020 First Aid/CPR with AED.
All students will participate wilderness excursions to link theory to practice.
