Semester 1 has now concluded.  We would like to call your attention to a few details on what to look for at this point in time, and where to find it.

PAUL KANE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Happy New Year to everyone in the Ecole Paul Kane community! The New Year means new beginnings. In February as we begin a new semester, there are many activities occurring so please keep an eye on our website for upcoming events.

Our school continues to thrive and prosper. A huge part of this success are the programs that we offer. February is the beginning of our junior high visits and grade 9 recruitment. There has been a lot of interest for next year already. We invite and encourage anyone interested in PK to call 780-459-4405. As well, please spread the word that the Open House will be on March 5th beginning at 5:30 p.m.

In the next month we have two long time staff members venturing on new journeys. Our Office Manager Karen Tubman will be retiring on February 18th after 40 years of outstanding service in our school division. Educational Assistant Irene Prazak is retiring as well on January 31st after many years here. We wish them both all the best as they have played integral roles in our school.

We would like to welcome Tamara O’Neill who is joining our teaching staff in Semester Two, sharing her time between the Social Studies and English departments.

We are partners in education so if you have any questions, please feel free to call or drop in at the office.

All the goodness, beauty and perfection of a human being belong to the one who knows how to recognize these qualities.
