HONOURS BREAKFAST

Thank you to the students who attended the Honours Breakfast yesterday. Also, thank you to
the staff who helped with the Honours Breakfast. It is because of you, the students, that the
breakfast was another successful event at PK. Keep up the good work and start preparing for
your finals in January.

ADLC AND ONSIDE STUDENTS

All assessments need to be submitted before the Christmas holidays except for the final exam.
Anything handed in the new year may not be marked in time to calculate your final mark. You
must have the prerequisite course in order to take a second semester course.

LOOM KNITTERS

Please bring in scarves and looms ASAP.

ONSIDE CALCULATORS

All students who have borrowed a calculator from OnSIDE need to return it by the end of the
day. Please check the back of your calculator to see if there is a white sticker/barcode on the
back. If so, please bring it to room 208.

U OF A AWARDS

U of A online award application deadline is December 11.

ADLC REGISTRATIONS

ADLC will be accepting registrations in 3, 4, 5 credit courses for the 2019-20 school year until March 16. ADLC will be accepting registrations in 1 credit courses for 2019-20 school year until May 8. Please visit the OnSide room for more information on the ADLC program.

SOCIOLOGY COURSE

Students interested in taking university level Sociology should hand their paperwork into Ms. Spence in Student Services as soon as possible. If you require the paperwork, please see Ms. Spence as well.

TERRY FOX AWARD

Terry Fox Humanitarian Award applications are due February 1st. Maximum award value is $28,000. For more information, please visit terryfoxawards.ca

SCHULICH LEADER SCHOLARSHIP

Schulich Leader Scholarship Information Session to receive tips on how to develop a successful and competitive application and to hear from current Schulich Leaders on how they have thrived at the U of A. Dates are December 5 and 12. Register at uab.ca/awards

ENVIRONMENT CLUB

Christmas Ornament and Décor Swap. Bring your gently used ornaments and other holiday décor to trade for new-to-you items! Drop off your gently used items between Dec 2-5th in front of the cafeteria at lunch or anytime in Ms. Savich’s room (205) to receive a ticket to shop for new items on Friday, December 13 at lunch and after school until 2:00 in room 205.

SKI TRIP MEETING

Ski trip meeting Tuesday, December 10 at lunch in room 223.


ROCK AND POP CONCERTS

Concerts are December 12 and 13 in the Paul Kane Cafeteria. Doors open at 5:00 and the show starts at 5:30. Entrance fee is a donation to the Food Bank!


CHRISTMAS FOOD DRIVE

The Food Drive for A/B classes will run from December 2-13. The class who collects the most points/food will be awarded a Tim Horton’s breakfast!


MATILDA TICKETS

Tickets are on sale for Matilda for $19 and are available in the front office.
Production is January 8-10 at the Arden Theatre.​​

BRAINSTORM ART SHOW

November 19 – December 14 St. Albert High School students featured work at the St. Albert Art Gallery. Five aul Kane artists are represented in the show. Free admission

YEARBOOKS

2018-2019 Yearbooks are available in the front office for pick up. Grads are to pick up their yearbooks in the main office and bring ID. If you ordered one and you did not receive it in class, please see the front office.
