Registration Information

The following forms, in pdf format, are available for student registration at Paul Kane High School.

New Students

When registering for the first time at Paul Kane High School, students must present their grade 9 and/or high school grade standings and a copy of their birth certificate.  In addition, students from out of province or country must present complete credentials of previous grade standing to the counselors for evaluation.   Click here to download a Student Registration Form for ECS to Grade 12.

Grade 10

Dynamic team of staff and leadership students visits our district junior high schools in late February/early March.  Information about Paul Kane and specifics on our programs are distributed.  Grade nine students then make choices and decisions for their high school experiences.  Appointments can be made by calling our Students Services secretary at 459-4405.  Alberta Learning Information Services provides a student planning tool titled Planning for Post-Secondary Studies - Grade 9 Student Guide.

Grade 11 and 12

Our goal is to assist students entering grades 11 and 12 in planning their courses in order to keep post-secondary doors open, together with courses that are appropriate for student success in meeting graduation requirements.  Counsellors, administrators, and teachers will be available to assist students in making appropriate course selections.

DRUG FREE PROTOCOL

In June 1999, St. Albert Protestant Schools and Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools entered into a formal agreement with the RCMP that permits the implementation of a Drug Free Protocol in St. Albert schools. The aim of the Drug Free Protocol is to support what schools and parents are already doing to reduce and eventually eliminate drugs in secondary schools. To view the protocol, please click here.

CODE OF STUDENT CONDUCT

Working with students, staff, parents, and the community, St. Albert Protestant Schools has developed a Student Conduct Policy that will serve to promote a positive attitude and acceptable behaviour in our schools. The policy is in place to ensure that our students get the maximum benefit from their education in a safe and inviting environment. Parents play an important role in assisting teachers and principals in implementing our Student Conduct Policy. To view the Code of Student Conduct, please click here.
