Athletics The Paul Kane BLUES have a strong and successful tradition in the area of interschool athletics. An array of league, zone and provincial championship banners hang in out gym to remind current students of the legacy passed on by former BLUES athletes. Our school competes in the Metro Edmonton High School Athletic Association against teams from two St. Albert School Districts, Edmonton Catholic Schools, Leduc, Strathcona, and Sturgeon. The Metro Association abides by the regulations of and competes provincially through the Alberta School Athletic Association.
Places on the various school teams are awarded on a competitive basis and team tryouts are well advertised to all interested students.
